The Academy’s library is the main source of books, periodicals, and other study material for all students during their courses. Previous exam papers, time tables, maps and other useful reference materials are made available. The Library and Information Services are open till late hours. 

      

The collection of the Central Library is rich and diverse, especially in terms of the range and depth of coverage. Collection encompasses subjects in communication technology, computer science, electronics, information technology,Electrical, management, humanities,  and social sciences and related areas. This collection includes, books, conference proceedings, reference books, CD-ROMs, floppies, VCDs, DVDs, Video Cassettes, etc. Currently, Central Library has over,

Central Library collection is growing at the rate of -- items per year.

All operations and services in the Central Library are fully computerized 0with utilization of OLAP software. Catalogue of the holdings is available 24x7 for online access on the campus network. Central Library provides an online access to the major digital resources.

Delnet Facility : Our library is also connected with Developing Library Network (DELNET), New Delhi. This facilitates resource sharing between member libraries of DELNET.  Faculty and students availing DELNET facility through Internet, have access to rare books, xerox copies of journals, articles, thesis and other reading materials.

INDEST - Central Library is member of Indian Digital Library in Engineering Sciences & Technology, New Delhi (INDEST) which provides us IEL online , ASME & Springer Link for Online Journals, Conference Proceedings , Standards & Newly Arrived Books.

airc : Our library is also connected with American Information Resource Centre , Mumbai, which facilitates resource sharing between member libraries of AIRC.  Faculty and students are availing the AIRC facility , which  allows reference into books and makes provisions for xerox copies of journals, articles, thesis and other reading materials.

(3)Conditions of loan :

a.    Borrowers must satisfy themselves about the physical condition of the books before borrowing.

b.   Reference books, rare books, periodical publication, syllabus, and newspaper are not issued on loan.

c.   All books on loan will be returned on or before the expiry of 30- days from the date of issue, failing which  an overdue charge of Rs. 5.00 per volume per day shall be charged.

d.     Reference Books & periodicals will be issued on special request after prior permission of respective HoD’s  for over night issue.

e.   Replacement of missing books would be accepted. Otherwise, a fine of 1.5 times of cost of the same books will be charged.

f.    Damaged books will be accepted back after their proper binding.

g.     Loan may be terminated at any time by the order of Librarian.

h.     A member, who infringes rules, shall be liable to forfeit his privilege of admission to and borrowing of books from the library.
